6 signs your company needs a rebrand

If you recognize yourself in two or more, your brand is probably holding you back. In the free consultation we review it with you and tell you honestly whether it is worth it.

It looks dated

Your logo and colors stayed in another era and no longer convey the quality of what you do today.

You grew and your brand didn’t

You now serve larger companies, sell more products or opened new locations, but your image is still the one from the beginning.

You get confused with others

Your brand looks too much like your competitors’ and customers can neither tell you apart nor remember you.

Your audience changed

You are aiming at a different kind of customer, another market or another country, and your brand does not speak to those people.

Merger or new partners

Two companies merged, a partner joined or leadership changed, and the brand has to tell the new story.

Every piece looks different

Your website, social media and printed materials use different colors and logos because there was never a brand manual.

Real rebranding cases

Two ways to renew a brand

Freight Logistics kept its name and redesigned its logo to look on par with its international clients. Organic Point changed its name and identity to become Ammora.

Old Freight Logistics logo, with the design flaws marked New Freight Logistics logo on a dark sea background
The previous logo had misaligned elements and inconsistent curves and weights. The new one is a simple monogram that reads well at any size.
New Freight Logistics identity applied to a truck and graphic pieces
The renewed identity applied to the fleet, social media pieces and advertising.

Rebranding for companies in Lima

Logo redesign or full rebranding?

Not every brand needs to start from scratch. A logo redesign (o refresh) modernizes your logo, colors and typography, but keeps the name and what people already recognize. A full rebranding rethinks the strategy: who you speak to, how you differentiate and, sometimes, what you are called.

The decision depends on how much your business has changed and how much value your current brand holds. That is why we start with an audit: we review your identity, your competition and what your customers think before proposing any change.

If you want to understand the concept better, read our guide When should you rebrand? If your brand does not exist yet, what you need is a branding service from scratch.

Logo redesign

  • You keep the name
  • Updated logo, colors and typography
  • Ideal if your brand is already known
  • Faster: 2 to 3 weeks

Full rebranding

  • New strategy and positioning
  • New visual and verbal identity
  • Naming if you change your name
  • Transition plan

How we work

Our rebranding process, in 4 steps

Renewing a brand that already exists carries a risk: losing what your customers already recognize. That is why design comes after understanding what is worth keeping.

  1. 1

    Audit of your brand

We review your current identity, your competition and how your customers perceive you: what works, what confuses and what no longer represents you.

  2. 2

    Renewal strategy

Together we decide what to keep and what to change: positioning, messages and, if needed, a new name.

  3. 3

    New identity

We design the logo, colors, typography and the main pieces, and document everything in your brand manual.

  4. 4

    Transition and launch

We help you switch your social media, website, stationery and signage in an orderly way, and tell your customers about the change so you lose none of them.

Frequently asked questions

Rebranding FAQ

Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll reply today.

What is a rebranding?

It is renewing an existing brand so it represents the company again. It can range from modernizing the logo and colors to rethinking the positioning and changing the name.

How much does a rebranding cost?

We use the same packages as for creating a brand: S/ 1,200 (US$ 350) for Essential Branding, ideal for a logo redesign; S/ 2,950 (US$ 850) for Total Branding, for a full rebranding; and S/ 5,300 (US$ 1,500) if you also need a new website. All include VAT.

How long does a rebranding take?

Between 2 and 3 weeks for a logo redesign, 4 to 5 weeks for a full rebranding and 5 to 6 weeks if it includes the website.

What is the difference between redesigning the logo and doing a rebranding?

A redesign modernizes the logo, colors and typography but keeps the name and the strategy. A rebranding rethinks who you speak to and how you differentiate, and may include a new name.

Will I lose customers if I change my brand?

Not if it is done well. First we identify what your customers recognize about your current brand so we can keep it, and then we plan how to communicate the change on your social media, website and points of sale.

Do I have to change my company name?

Not always. Most rebrandings keep the name. We recommend it only if the current name confuses, looks like a competitor’s or no longer describes what you do.

What happens to my trademark registration with INDECOPI?

If you change the name or the logo significantly, it is worth registering the new brand. We explain how in our guide to registering your trademark with INDECOPI.

Do you work with companies outside Lima?

Yes. We work remotely with clients across Peru, Latin America, Spain and the United States, in Spanish and English. Consultations and reviews are by video call.

Does your brand no longer represent your company?

Book a free consultation: we review your current brand and tell you whether you need a redesign or a full rebranding, with clear pricing and timelines.
